Set up a Coffee Shop, choose what to sell, cover customer needs, plan staffing and diagnose low sales or profit.
Opening requirements, selling setup, customer facilities and operating conditions are different layers. Only the first group blocks opening.
The game does not run the business until these are present.
Stock at least one eligible product and keep it available at the checkout. The checkout carries 5 product lines at once.
These shape customer satisfaction. They are not the same as the opening requirements.
Once the shop can open, how much it earns depends on staffing, cleaning, stock and pricing.
Staffed counter hours, cleaning coverage, products on the shelves and prices customers accept.
Each group names its own relation: required equipment comes from the business requirement data, while employee customization is an optional uniform feature. A required item that also carries a capacity value is a staffed station.
Capacity 20 · Workstation for Customer Service
Ten products are eligible for a Coffee Shop, but the checkout only carries five product lines at once, so what you stock is a real choice.
The business definition weights these at full impact: Cup of Coffee, Cup Of Tea, Croissant, Cupcake, Donut.

No product is universally the best one. Compare what your neighborhood demands, who already sells it, the price customers accept, and how much the shop can stock and serve.
Seven customer needs apply to a Coffee Shop. They change customer satisfaction; they are not opening blockers on their own.
Add a compatible music source.
Configure uniforms for every relevant role working in this business.
Meet the interior-design score required by the selected neighborhood.
Add compatible customer seating.
Add the required number of compatible toilets for the current floor area.
Check the Toilet Privacy status in the current business interface after placing the toilet.
Add the required number of compatible sinks for the current floor area.
A Coffee Shop needs counter cover and cleaning work. How many employees that means follows your opening hours, not a fixed number.
Coffee Shops run in Retail buildings. Compare traffic, customer mix, demand, competitors and rent before committing to a street.
The building type definition lists these neighborhoods as the most likely to hold suitable Retail buildings. That is a supply hint, not a profit ranking.
Prices are decided in the market tools: pick a product, add the neighborhood and your local demand, then test acceptance. This page does not recalculate prices.
Coffee Shop traffic is not flat. The game definition weights each hour of the day, so staff the hours you open and compare the extra sales against the extra payroll.
These multipliers are the business definition’s hourly and daily traffic weights. They are not a measured best schedule.
Plan opening hoursWork down this chain and stop at the first layer that is not satisfied. Fixing a later layer first usually changes nothing.
These are first checks, not verdicts. Each row starts with the cheapest thing to verify before changing anything expensive.
Check opening hours first, then local demand, location and marketing before changing prices.
Check capacity and how many customers you can serve per hour, then product availability at the checkout.
Follow the product from stock to supply route to production and find the first layer that is empty.
Separate demand, price acceptance and competitor presence before adding more advertising.
Compare margin against payroll, rent, marketing and licensing rather than revenue alone.
Check whether capacity is already above customer pressure, then check assignment and schedule coverage.
Compare the requirement list against what is actually installed in the building.
Check the stock target, delivery route and whether a warehouse is needed.
Early on you restock by hand. Automation starts paying off when manual restocking becomes a recurring management cost, not at a fixed shop count.
Buy stock at a wholesaler and carry it to the shop yourself. Fine while one store is the whole business.
Check →A Warehouse plus a Delivery Driver moves stock on a route, so you stop driving it yourself.
Check →Purchasing Agents and Logistics Managers lift how much stock and how many destinations the company can handle at once.
Check →Every Coffee Shop product has a factory recipe, so growing volume can move from buying to producing where the numbers justify it.
Check →Add your building, neighborhood, staffing, prices and costs to see where your setup may be constrained.
These checkboxes are a scratch list in your browser. Nothing here knows the state of your save.
