Recruitment Agency or Headhunter?

Use normal recruitment when you just need the right role. Use a Headhunter when candidate skill, demands or replacement quality matter more than simplicity.

Recruitment agency

  • Normal hiring
  • Primary skill roughly 20–50
  • Low skill control
  • Campaign deadline and candidate count affect cost

Headhunter

  • Targeted hiring
  • Target skill ±5
  • Dealbreakers filter selected demands
  • Search speed depends on Headhunter skill

Expected candidate range

7585

Base candidate interval

1.25 hours

Need candidates without certain demands?

Dealbreakers can filter No Weekends, No Cleaning, time-of-day restrictions and selected benefit or equipment demand categories before candidates are generated.

What Changes Candidate Quality?

Role availability

The selected agency must include the employee skill in its recruitment pool.

Count and deadline

For standard campaigns, more candidates and a shorter deadline increase campaign cost.

Skill targeting

A Headhunter searches around a chosen primary-skill target instead of the broad standard range.

Why can I only recruit Cleaners?

The agency intersects its own skill pool with the business roles. Cleaning may be added by the building even when the agency cannot provide the business’s primary role.

How Recruitment Works in Big Ambitions

Recruitment agencies have different skill pools. Anderson handles retail, service and operations roles; C.A.S.T. covers cinema and theater specialists; City Workforce supplies office, headquarters and management employees.

Businesses use specific employee skills. The agency only exposes roles that overlap with the selected business, while the building type can add support work such as Cleaning or Customer Service.

Standard recruitment provides a broad starting range. Candidate timing and cost depend on the campaign, candidate count and deadline. The first candidate skill is sampled from the standard recruitment range rather than a precise target.

Headhunters offer more control. They can target a primary skill within a narrow window and filter selected job-demand categories, but they require headquarters infrastructure and their own employee skill.
