Recipes define each production batch. Every recipe has fixed ingredient quantities, a base output and a required workstation family. Planning uses complete batches so ingredient requirements and surplus stay visible.
Factory Worker skill changes effective output. A higher effective output can reduce the number of batches needed for the same target, which also changes daily ingredient demand.
Multiple recipes share factory resources. Ingredient demand is aggregated across products, while recipes assigned to the same workstation family contribute to one combined planned batch load.
Exact machine capacity needs a throughput assumption. Until reliable cycle duration is available, the planner separates game recipe data from observed batches per workstation/day entered by the player.
