How Scheduling Works in Big Ambitions
Employees need compatible workstations. Their primary skill must match the station, while building types can add support work such as Cleaning.
Opening hours define where coverage is needed. Assigning an employee to a building is not enough; the relevant station must be staffed during each operating hour.
Job demands can restrict valid assignments. Time-of-day limits, free days, weekly hours and No Cleaning can remove otherwise compatible choices.
Auto Schedule uses several constraint passes. A strict pass is attempted first. Later passes can relax some lower-priority constraints when no perfect schedule covers enough work, producing a partial or non-optimal result.
Staffing coverage can limit business capacity. Office work is particularly sensitive to staffed workstation capacity, while retail, warehouse and headquarters operations use different paths.
